RIP HRH ER II square.jpg

The Friends of Wateringbury Chruch are deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and we join the rest of the country and people across the world in mourning her passing.

Her selfless dedication to duty and service of her country were an example to us all, and she exemplified leadership, dignity and values in a way that inspired us all.

As a mark of respect, the Strawberry Tea Party will not be going ahead on Sunday 18th September.

The Friends of Wateringbury Church are a local charity which aims to help to maintain, preserve and improve the building and churchyard of St John the Baptist in Wateringbury.

So far we have raised £45,600 -  thanks for all your support

Perhaps you may value the building, its history and traditions, or just feel it’s important for Wateringbury village to keep the church in good condition. Our overall aim is to help the church maintain its role at the heart of our village.
